You wish to have this relationship confirmed by a wedding or civil partnership. It is an important day, that you will want to experience as a warm memorable feeling. I will make every effort to ensure that the ceremony meets with your needs.
I understand that this is very much a PERSONAL day and you would wish to express this so as to include your own spiritual preferences and specific experiences. Perhaps you wish to light a candle for someone who was very dear to you, or you have a special request you would like to have performed. We always ensure there will be enough space for children, and a special child certificate can be made.
As a host for KLM, I travelled the world for more than 30 years. I am very interested in cultures of all kind, but in particular, in the people within these cultures. I took several studies in different cultures. I have a warm interest in people, animals and nature, and I rarely am surprised by anything!
In 2003, I was confirmed by oath by the Court of Justice in the Hague as an
official "wedding registrar". In Dutch it's called "Trouwambtenaar"
Since that time, I have performed more than 350 weddings and civil partnerships. Brides and grooms of different nationalities, Weddings between Women and between Men. People of all ages between 18 to 83.
This variety makes my job so interesting, and therefore the contents of each ceremony is unique !
As each ceremony is different, likewise my introduction and speech is tailored to each couple; it is developed by the information I receive from each partner.
We discuss all of your needs and wishes during an interview, which will take 1 ½ to 2 hours. After the initial contact, we will stay in touch via telephone or e-mail as often as is necessary.
